Chef Waree's lifelong dream was to own a restaurant, a passion that ignited at 8 years old when she started working at her family's establishment.
Her responsibilities included dishwashing, floor cleaning, vegetable prep, and assisting her mother in the kitchen. After trying various white-collar jobs like HR and accounting, she realized office life wasn't for her.
In November 2015, she took the first step toward her dream by opening her gourmet kitchen in a tiny Pearl River, New York bar. She later expanded to open Grub in West Nyack, where she proudly sets the rules for her menu and kitchen. It's a dream come true. Please come and Get Your Grub On!!!
